Staines Market

To trade at Staines Market ALL traders are required to have Public Liability Insurance and will need to bring their own tables / rails.

We will supply each trader with a stall and pitch on the day, these are issued "First come, First Served".

The costs are based on footage : 

Wednesday or Friday is £5.10 per foot (casual rate)

Saturday is £5.80 per foot (casual rate)

Stalls come in the following sizes : 10x10ft (3x3m), 15x10ft (4.5x3m) or 20x10ft (6x3m).

After working two or so weeks you would be offered the chance to book on as a permanent trader, requiring you to pay a two week deposit which secures your pitch each week, (no more "First come, First served") and offers a discounted rental rate.

(this deposit is non refundable, it is to be worked off as advanced rental when you chose to leave the market)

Recommended arrival time for new casual traders is 7am, entry via the Debenhams end of the pedestrian high street, Postcode: TW18 4PQ

Parking arrangements will be explained on the day.

Food traders are required to provide the following documents for checking before a pitch can be offered :

> Public Liability Insurance
> ID  (driving license, passport)
> Health & Hygiene certificate  (level 2 minimum, one for each staff member working)
> P . A. T  - electrical test certificate  (if using power irrelevant of product age)
> Corgi "Gas Safe" certificate  (if using ANY gas appliance irrelevant of product age)

> Local council food business registration proof  (from your local council environmental health team)

These documents can be submitted on email to be kept on file by the market office, and a copy of these will be submitted to our local council for verification/record keeping.
